Giving Truly is a simple way to send meals, groceries, and rides to someone who needs support. You can send a direct gift to someone you know or you can support others through the Giving Truly Fund, which helps hospitals and community partners reach people with urgent needs.
How do direct gifts work
You choose a gift card, enter the recipient’s contact information, add a message, and complete your purchase. The digital gift card is delivered through the contact method you select.
How does the Giving Truly Fund work
The fund supports individuals, patients, caregivers, and households of all kinds. Your donation helps our partners provide immediate meals, groceries, and essential care during difficult moments.
Are donations to the Fund tax deductible
Our tax status is being finalized. As soon as our approval is complete, we will update this information and provide donation receipts as required.
Who receives support through the Fund
People experiencing food insecurity, transportation barriers, medical challenges, unexpected hardship, and other urgent needs. This includes single adults, seniors, students, caregivers, patients, and families.
What brands can I choose from for direct gifts
We partner with trusted brands such as DoorDash, Instacart, Uber, and Lyft so your gift can be redeemed quickly and easily.
How long does delivery take
Most gift cards arrive within minutes as long as the recipient’s email, phone number, or social handle is correct. Some deliveries may take a little longer depending on the platform used.
What if I entered the wrong contact information
If the gift card has not yet been delivered, we can help update the information. If it has already been delivered, the purchase is final. Please double check the details before submitting your order.
Can I give anonymously
Yes. You may choose to leave your name off your message. The recipient will only see that a gift was sent to them.
Can I schedule a gift for later
Not yet, but this feature is being planned.
Are service fees required
For direct gifts, a small service fee helps cover the cost of operating the platform and delivering your gift. Donations to the Giving Truly Fund do not include service fees.
Can I send gifts to more than one person
Yes. You can complete multiple orders if you want to support several people.
Do you store my payment information
We do not store full credit card numbers. All payments are handled through secure processors.
